HEIDELBERG Empowers Customer Success at PRINTING United
Heidelberg USA, Inc. (HEIDELBERG) is pleased to report a strong close to the month of October, marked by its continued focus on helping customers adapt and thrive in a changing print landscape through innovative technologies and expert support.
“As the industry continues to feel the stress of a shrinking skilled workforce, HEIDELBERG is proud to introduce innovations that help alleviate these pressures through automation and smart workflows, reducing manual labor and maximizing efficiency,” said Clarence Penge, President of Heidelberg USA.
A major highlight of the month was PRINTING United 2025 in Orlando, Florida, where HEIDELBERG welcomed a large and enthusiastic crowd at its booth. The event served as an ideal platform to showcase the company’s latest digital solutions: the Jetfire 50 digital inkjet press, Versafire LP digital toner press, and the Stahlfolder TH 66 Fireline integrated cut-and-fold system– all powered by Prinect, HEIDELBERG’s end-to-end smart production platform. Together, these technologies demonstrate how smart, connected print production can enhance efficiency, flexibility, and profitability for customers.
Attendees were also drawn to samples from the Speedmaster XL 106-8P+L, printed at HEIDELBERG’s North American Print Media Performance & Training Center. Showcasing creative effects and advanced finishing capabilities, using HEIDELBERG Saphira consumables, the samples underscore the continued value of offset technology for high-impact specialty applications.
“Our theme for PRINTING United was ‘Step into the Future,’” said Penge. “We are committed to helping our customers take that step, whether it’s through hybrid printing that combines the best of offset and digital or through our Prinect platform, which orchestrates all production workflows in one connected system. While offset historically remains the most economical solution for long runs, it can be the lowest manufacturing cost for short run work as well — depending on the finishing or variable content requirements. We are pleased to offer our customers the flexibility they need, as we believe true success comes from having both offset and digital solutions working together.”
The event also featured a live Q&A session with Mark Mills, President of Spectrum Packaging Corporation in Orlando, FL, who shared his story on his company’s investment in the latest HEIDELBERG Speedmaster technology integrated with Prinect. Mills discussed how his team leverages production data and analytics from the HEIDELBERG Customer Portal to drive productivity and success.
“Closing out October with strong order intake and the excitement generated from the show has brought renewed momentum to developing solutions that address the industry’s essential needs,” said Penge. “As we look ahead, we remain committed to helping our customers reach new heights of success.”
