MGX to Showcase Specialty Substrates and New UVI Rigid Vinyl at PRINTING United Expo 2026
Visitors to Booth N5722 can explore durable, rigid, magnetic and metallic media engineered for leading commercial print platforms.
FENTON, Mo. – September 8, 2026 – MGX, a specialty substrate manufacturer and coating expert serving the commercial printing industry, will exhibit at PRINTING United Expo 2026, September 23-25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. At Booth N5722, the company will present a hands-on collection of its most popular specialty substrates, along with its newest Rigid Vinyl PVC UVI grade engineered for UV inkjet production.
The display will focus on practical ways commercial printers can use specialty media to move beyond everyday paper applications and create higher-value work using existing digital production platforms. Attendees will be able to compare materials, review printed samples and discuss press compatibility, finishing requirements and potential applications with the MGX team.

Featured MGX substrates
Xquisite™ Synthetic Paper – A waterproof, tear-resistant synthetic paper designed for durable applications such as menus, tags, manuals, cards and retail graphics. Multiple gauges and platform-specific grades help printers select a material suited to both the application and the press.
Rigid Vinyl PVC – A stiff, durable substrate for flat applications that need to hold their shape, including door hangers, placards, shelf graphics, cards, flat menus and point-of-purchase displays.
ReadyMAG® magnetic media – Pre-magnetized printable media that makes it easier to produce calendars, schedules, coupons, service reminders and promotional magnets without a separate post-print magnetizing step.
Unilustre® foil board – A digital-print-ready metallic substrate that creates vibrant reflective effects for trading cards, event pieces, premium marketing materials and packaging. Its plastic-free construction is recyclable and repulpable.
New UVI grade – Developed specifically for UV inkjet presses, the UVI coating is engineered to enhance image quality and ink adhesion while helping reduce chipping and flaking during trimming and die cutting. This grade is compatible with the Konica Minolta AccurioJet KM-1 and KM-30000 and the Komori Impremia IS29.
MGX materials will also be represented beyond Booth N5722. Attendees can look for printed MGX samples in the Ricoh, Xerox and Konica Minolta booths and see MGX material being printed in the HP booth, providing additional opportunities to view specialty substrates in real production environments.
