Seeking Convos & Connections

Where conversations leave an impression & connections last! There are opportunities around every corner, here’s what you need to know.

“Spill the Ink” Roundtable Discussions

  • A drop-in discussion area (no stage, no mic) where peers, thought leaders, and attendees casually converse.
  • Held twice daily (11:00 AM and 3:30 PM on Oct. 22 & 23) on the show floor near booth 5659.
  • Excellent for overhearing what people are grappling with, jumping in when a topic interests you, or simply listening and making introductions.

After Dark Networking / Social Events

  • Once the show floor wraps, make time for evening networking. Many informal conversations happen over dinners, cocktails, or in local venues.
  • These settings are lower-pressure — good for deeper connection.
  • Add this to your cart during registration or at the Expo and enjoy two fun nights out on the town!

Coffee Talks & Niche Networking

  • Distributor Coffee Talks is your space to connect, share ideas, and start the day with the people who understand your business best. No formalities, just good conversation, fresh coffee, and a great way to energize your day on the floor.
  • The Women in Print Alliance holds a Networking Luncheon (plated meal, open seating, with a Keynote) at the Expo and a reception for the evening.
  • There are several forums including In-plant Impressions, Packaging Impressions, IPMA, and more!

Happy Hours

  • The first two days of the Expo are packed with happy hours, starting at 3:30 PM and continuing until the end of the Expo.
  • Those are just the ones we know about, visit your favorite exhibitors booth and you’ll be bound to find one.

Booth Conversations

  • Be strategic: target booths of potential partners, suppliers, or clients. Don’t just walk; pause, ask questions, and stay long enough to engage meaningfully.
  • If a booth is quiet, introduce yourself — often the rep will welcome a conversation.
  • Try to find booths in adjacent fields (not just your business) to expand your network boundary.
