In this TED-talk inspired presentation, HP’s Chief Sustainability Officer James McCall shares his nearly 25 years of experience at P&G with attendees to address the latest global sustainability trends and identify how to create actionable change within your organization. This session will address the importance and impact of sustainability and what brands are now demanding – both in the short term and long term. Learn how to make sustainability a competitive advantage and conduct smart business at the same time.
With nearly 25 years of experience at P&G, James is excited to be joining the HP Sustainability Family. Over the next decade, HP will stand for a new era of progress -where climate change is reversed, human rights are universally protected, and digital equity democratizes opportunity for all. James has responsibility for leading a global team of innovators who drive sustainability and product compliance work across HP. By reducing our environmental footprint, protecting critical human rights, and ensuring world class compliance/certification, we enable consumers, governments, and enterprise customers to make sustainable equipment choices. In turn, this supports the next generation of circular innovation across the global economy.
His team partners end to end across all of HP’s product lines including personal systems, printers, and 3D printing. Enabling HP to operate responsibly, while delivering a common goal of creating technology that makes life better for everyone, everywhere! James holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University. He lives on a small farm with his wife, two sons, and a handful of pets. His passion is making the world a little better place for the next generation.
